GroupJive 1.6 "The time is now!"

1.) Download GroupJive1.6_alpha2 at Joomlacode.org

2.) Install with Joomla 1.0.13 (yes... that's right!!)

3.) Report your Bugs here at GroupJive Tracker

Integration:
+ Community Builder 1.1 (the new release available here)
+ FireBoard 1..0.2 Release Candidate (available here)

Now is the time to help all of us at Project GroupJive finish the "Drive to 1.6" STABLE.

  • Install GroupJive 1.6
  • Integrate with FireBoard and Community Builder (see the readme.txt in GJ package)
  • Give us your feedback at http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/groupjive/tracker
.... obviously there is a lot of development going on in Joomla right now (Joomla 1.0.13, new CB, new FireBoard, new EventList). Our goal for GroupJive "stable" has always been to integrate seemlessly with these components. The 1.6 release is focused on that goal. We're asking for your help.

Please keep the information coming in. We have labled GroupJive 1.6 as alpha 1 for a limited time. It contains many BUG FIXES as reported by you at our Project GroupJive Tracker. The code however is ready for Beta 1 classification and we believe we can move through to Release Candidate very quickly because most of the work has already been done. We are asking for your help in testing "RIGHT NOW!"

Review the list here of the components that we are testing against. Report all Bugs using tracker and please be as descriptive as possible in your reporting.

There are some excellent tips for Bug Reporting at Joomla.org.

Thanks everyone.

AND ALSO >>> Project GroupJive would like to thank the Joomla! Community for supporting and embracing the "Drive to 1.6". You have made GroupJive a priority and we intend to respond. We have implemented changes in GroupJive to simplify coding so that your suggestions, bug reporting and ideas can be responded to quickly. We are here to say thanks and to work hard for the future of GroupJive! "Thank you" to the community.

Look out STABLE..., here we come!
