I was wondering if anyone had tweaked the default modules to display latest/largest/etc groups only from particular categories? I'm a programmer, but not a PHP programmer - as such I know it wouldn't be difficult to do, but I'd have a fair learning curve to do it myself!

Anyone done it, or interested in doing it?
