Besides Cb this is one of the most useful and coolest components for joomla out there, not kidding
It still needs some work but believe me if you finish what you started you will get rewarded !
I really love the bulletin and mass messages for members, really neat !
Anyway I have tons of suggestions, but the major ones first:
-new members could be able to choose the group they want to belong right there on the registration page
-groups could have a ranking. this could open a new possibilities for game communities, I dont think this should be hard to make and it would take groupjive into a whole new level.
You have some groups (clans) they compete against eachother and they get points after each match (whaterver they are playing)
an admin assigns points to each group after a match and they will be listed on a rank list according to the points they have. You know what is the point of having a group if the members can't accomplish things together and compete with other groups, and a simple parameter (number of points) for a group would do that trick.
