I had not realized until just know that the original Dev team is completely gone. In a way that is a good thing. It clears the way for something good to happen.

I need this component badly and willing to invest time into moving it forward. I've been reluctant to spend much time on it so far as it seemed to be swirling the porcelain bowl faster and faster. I'm not a coder but can occasionally fix something not too complicated. Pretty good at Q&A and documentation.

It seems there are a few more of you willing to invest some time as well. Maybe we can get some forward movement while waiting to pay a coder for big stuff.

I'd like to know why the development team abandoned this project? Can anyone provide some honest insight.

I am a developer, but I haven't read through the source code...I just used it on a web site. Is the software well engineered?

Can someone please explain what happened? Then we can figure out what to do with this project.
