Hello, I'm currently creating a new groupjive template based on the default template. I just want to know if:

1. There's a way to display group information individually (one by one instead of in group) in showgroup.tmpl. Instead of displaying group manager on the right, I want, instead, to link in the manager/creator's name to save space.

2. There's a way to display menus individually so that we can add icons.

Here's a preview of my template Matikas.



A guestbook and a plugin for rs2gallery or phoca gallery would be a great addition to groupjive.

GJ Integration to a Gallery is a GREAT idea! [karma+1] Groups with their own galleries? Hmmm, nice one. My site will allow users to have their own galleries accessed from their profile.
I have written a CB plugin for PhocaGallery which curently check to see if profile owner has a gallery, if so shows message USERNAME has a photo gallery! shows upto 4 random medium thumbnails with links to full gallery.
To Do:
if Profile Owner is Profile Viewer and he/she does not already have a gallery, show a message explaining how to get started.

This plugin is in now way ready to be shared... I have walked away from it for a while and I'm not entirly sure when I will get back to it as I have moved on to other things.

@Icerat: Yes I'm planning to release this template for public use

Update: I have managed to add icons for the menus. It requires "heavy" hacking on the groupjive_func.inc and the group core files though.





Anybody knows how to make name of the manager/creator linkable? I'm trying to edit this part from groupjive_func.inc but can't make it work.

This is done easily in the Template Files with no core changes! There are already vars set which you can use... I'll post here what I have been playing with. I still need to change a few things, but it works as is. I do want to change it to use the CB SEF functions...
